This is an exciting opportunity (either on a full time or part time basis) to join a dynamic, modern accounting practice, situated less than 5 minutes walk from the city. You will become a member of a progressive public practice firm, having fully embraced cloud accounting and bookkeeping practices. It is essential that the successful candidate has a knowledge or a desire to embrace this latest technology.

It is essential that the successful candidate has had considerable exposure to Xero and MYOB with at least a basic understanding of Quickbooks. (Applicants must detail in their application the extent of their experience with Xero). Experience with Microsoft Excel, MYOB AO or MYOB AE, Simple Fund, CAS is also highly regarded. Furthermore, he/she is expected to be a logical thinker, a people person and with a strong grasp of the English language (preferably English being the first language).  Ideally, the candidate should have at least 2 years of business services experience.  CPA or CA qualified is preferred but not essential.

The firm has clients in a large variety of industries including medical, property, IT, construction, retail and manufacturing. There will be no limit to the exposure that will be afforded to the successful candidate.

Duties that the successful candidate will be required to fulfil include tax advice, business services advice, financial statements preparation, income tax return preparation and superannuation fund work using Simple Fund.

He or she will be provided with ongoing feedback to ensure strong professional development. Remuneration will be commensurate with experience.
